Finse, station
07:01u."Finse is 1,222 metres above sea level on the railway which runs between Bergen and Oslo, Norway. It's not a city or even a village. It's a railway station, one hotel and a number of surrounding buildings. It's on the northern edge of the Hardanger Plateau and it has snow for eight months of the year."
Flåm
07:01u."Flåm is the starting point for Flåmsbana, a unique railroad that was opened in 1940 as a transport channel from Bergensbanen to the sea. The first trains were temporary steam trains, an electric locomitives has been used since 1944. Building a railroad in the steep terrain was a great challenge, and today Flåmsbana is one of the most spectacular railways in Norway, and a popular tourist attraction."

Grovane, Setesdalsbanen

"In November 1896 a 78-km (48,5 miles) long Setesdalsbanen was opened up to ordinary service between Kristiansand and Byglandsfjord. The railway line was built to link the Setesdal to the coastal town of Kristiansand. With this town's port and connections to other Norwegian coastal towns and Europe, it opened up a valley, which up to that time had been very isolated."
